原料にフレンチリネンを使用しています。
今シーズンはリネンが多く登場しますが、それぞれで全く異なった表情を見せるのもリネンの面白さではないでしょうか。
本作は半袖ということもあり、リネンの触り心地の良さに焦点を当てています。
このクリーミーで柔らかな触感は仕上がった生地を、特殊な手法で「叩きほぐす」ことで生まれたものです。組織がツイルなのでリネン特有の光沢を存分に宿し、これがシャツにさらなる清涼感を与えています。

This short-sleeved shirt focuses on the pleasant feel of linen.

This creamy, soft texture is achieved by “beating and loosening” the finished fabric using a special technique. The twill weave allows the linen’s characteristic sheen to shine through, giving the shirt an even more refreshing feel.

本作はオープンカラーですが、一番上はチーループではなく段返りになっています。もちろん上まで閉めることができます。

シャツは縫製手法も印象を左右する重要ポイントだと考えております。本作は全てを本縫いミシンで仕立ててあります。ドレスシャツのように縫製することで繊細で上品な印象に仕立てるためです。

釦は天然の貝を使用しています。
螺鈿細工のように煌びやかなものではなく、見た感じはマットな乳白色が特徴です。それは原料が海水貝ではなく、淡水貝だということを意味しています。濃色は染色したものになります。これはTAKE&SONSのシャツの多くに使用されている釦です。

This shirt features an open collar, but the top lapel is not a drawstring loop; it has a rolled lapels. Of course, it can be buttoned all the way up.

We believe that the sewing technique is a crucial factor in determining the overall impression of a shirt. This shirt is entirely constructed using a lockstitch sewing machine. This dress shirt-like construction creates a delicate and elegant impression.

The buttons are made from natural shell.

Unlike the glittering raven-like finish of mother-of-pearl inlay, they have a matte, milky white appearance. This indicates that the raw material is freshwater shell, not saltwater shell. Darker colors are achieved through dyeing. These are the buttons used on many TAKE&SONS shirts.
