なかなか味わい深い表情をしてます。

その昔、自然発生的に出現していたネップのような質感を目指して。
現代の紡績技術によって、あえて糸に節となる球体を作ることでそれを再現しています。ストレートで均一な糸がひける時代になって、再び味わいを求めて、かつての技術が再評価されるとは何とも皮肉な話しです。

不均一な糸を使っていますので、通常と同じく編むことができませんでした。この素材は、編み機の速度などセッティングを追い込みながら編み立てられました。味わいをより強調するために、染色や仕上げに関しても旧式の設備を使用することで、良い意味での不均一さが、味わいとなって表れています。

It has a truly distinctive and appealing texture.

The aim was to recreate the nep-like texture that naturally occurred in the past.

Using modern spinning technology, this texture is recreated by deliberately creating spherical knots in the yarn. It’s ironic that in an age where straight, uniform yarns are readily available, this old technique is being re-evaluated in search of that unique texture.

Because uneven yarn is used, it couldn’t be knitted in the usual way. This material was knitted while meticulously adjusting the settings, such as the knitting machine speed. To further emphasize the texture, old-fashioned equipment was used for dyeing and finishing, resulting in a desirable unevenness that contributes to its unique character.

この見た目から、ウエイトが気になるかもしれませんが、本作は決して重くはありません。
単糸ですので通気性に優れ、軽量で柔らかい気心地に仕上げてあります。これまでのTAKE&SONSのTシャツの中では間違いなく軽いTシャツといえます。この素材感を十分に活かすために、縫い目をフラットシーマーで縫製しています。＊ネックや裾など、物理的にフラットシーマーが入らない箇所があります。

While its appearance might suggest a heavier weight, this T-shirt is surprisingly lightweight.

Made with single-ply yarn, it boasts excellent breathability, resulting in a lightweight and soft feel. It’s undoubtedly the lightest T-shirt in TAKE&SONS’ lineup to date. To fully utilize the material’s properties, the seams are sewn with flatlock stitching. *Please note that there are areas, such as the neck and hem, where flatlock stitching is physically impossible.
