商品名の『180』は肩傾斜のこと。本作の肩傾斜が180度水平を保っていることに由来します。
一般的にシャツには人体に則した肩傾斜が存在しますが、本作の肩傾斜はゼロ。これは洋服の観点からすると、常識を逸脱したユニークな構造といえるでしょう。
腕の動作を妨げない構造として優れたポテンシャルがあると思いますが、シャツの設計としては問題があるのも事実。それは肩まわりの余剰ボリュームが落ちてくることで発生するシワの量をどうやって処理するかということ。この問題をクリアするためには、シワを上手く吸収できるデザインが必要になります。そこで、リブを使うことで袖口と裾にもボリューム（シワ）を持たせ、視覚的に散らすことで全体が違和感なく馴染むデザインを狙いました。こうして生まれた肩まわりの『ストレス ゼロ』の着用感は本作の特筆すべきことです。

The “180” in the product name refers to the shoulder inclination. This comes from the fact that this piece’s shoulder inclination remains horizontal at 180 degrees. Shirts generally have shoulder inclinations that conform to the human body, but this piece has zero shoulder inclination. From the perspective of clothing, this can be said to be a unique structure that goes beyond common sense.
While this design has great potential as it doesn’t restrict arm movement, it does have some issues with the shirt’s design. That is, how to deal with the amount of wrinkles that occur when excess volume around the shoulders droops. To overcome this issue, a design that can effectively absorb wrinkles is required. Therefore, by using ribbing, we aim to give volume (wrinkles) to the cuffs and hem, visually scattering them and creating a design that blends seamlessly with the rest of the garment. The resulting “stress-free” fit around the shoulders is what makes this shirt particularly noteworthy.

素材はリップストップを使用しています。オイルを含んだような濡れた感触は、乾いても硬くならない特殊な樹脂を塗布しているからです。さらに微起毛をかけることで独特なヌメリ感をプラスしました。この触感は、古き良き時代のワックス素材を彷彿とさせるものです。それを現代の技術で再現したこの素材は、触ってもベタつかず、匂いもなく、軽撥水効果のあるシャツ地なのです。

釦は天然の貝を使用しています。螺鈿細工のように煌びやかなものではなく、見た感じはマットな乳白色が特徴です。それは原料が海水貝ではなく、淡水貝だということを意味しています。これらはTAKE&SONSのシャツの多くに使用されている釦です。

The material used is ripstop. The oily, wet feel comes from the application of a special resin that does not harden even when dry. A slight nap has also been applied to add a unique slippery feel. This texture is reminiscent of the wax materials of the good old days. This material, reproduced using modern technology, is a shirt fabric that is not sticky to the touch, has no odor, and is lightly water-repellent.

The buttons are made from natural shells. They are not as shiny as mother-of-pearl inlay, but have a distinctive matte milky white appearance. This means that they are made from freshwater shells, not saltwater shells. These are the buttons used on many of TAKE&SONS’ shirts.
